Mill Description
The
Clarion mill is joint venture with French flooring company, Tarkett,
Inc. The mill has a 10’ wide continuous press and an annual production
capacity of 140 million square feet ¾ inch basis. Two finishing lines
allow the production of standard as well as large (7’ x 9’) format
panels, the size required by several key laminate flooring customers. A
state-of-the-art $50 million laminate flooring plant is currently under
construction at the site, with an expected start-up date of July 2007.
Products
Clarion Boards MDF offers a hardwood formulation that provides a consistent, quality surface and tight core that results in excellent edge shaping. Its thin MDF product is idea, among others, for flooring applications, drawer bottoms, furniture backs, signs, pegboard and slot wall.
