Overview

The ATC Panels companies manufacture and sell Particleboard (PB), Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) and High Density Fiberboard (HDF) under the trade name ATC Panels. 

 

 

Operations in North America are conducted through:

 

  • ATC Panels Inc., which owns and operates the Franklin, VA and Moncure, NC Particleboard mills.
  • Clarion Boards Inc., a joint venture with the French flooring company Tarkett Inc, which owns and operates the Clarion, PA MDF and HDF mill and
  • ATC Pembroke Inc., which owns and operates the Pembroke, Ontario MDF mill

 

 

ATC Panels is committed to the composite panels business, and will continue to invest and improve its facilities to ensure that they meet our customers’ needs to the best of our abilities. We will strive to deliver consistent quality products in a timely manner, while providing superb customer support.  

 

ATC Panels was established by investors with a successful and lengthy experience in the composite panels business.  Juan Obach, Chairman of ATC, was the Chairman of Masisa (Link: http://www.masisa.com/) from 1984 through 2002.  Masisa is the largest Latin American composite panels company, and operates fourteen PB (Particleboard), MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and OSB (Oriented Strand Board) mills in Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico.
